There are two Greek words for "word" in the New Testament. Logos and Rhema. The written word of God and the spoken word of God. But logos doesn't just refer to writing. In the bible it is also translated as message, command, saying... Logos is about the concept that is being presented more than the way it is presented. It can be written, spoken, sung, danced, or guided through a workbook. It is something to be known. The bible isn't the word (logos) of God because it is written down. It is the word of God because it is the very concept of God. When we engage with scripture, it isn't just text and stories and things to encourage (or alarm) us. It's person that we get to know. It's living. It's active. The shirts in this collection are inspired by the truth of his word.
