After Elijah was taken up into Heaven, Elisha set out with the LORD. But he encountered almost immediate opposition—a group of prophets questioning what really happened to Elijah (maybe the LORD put him down somewhere?), a group of young men making fun of his hair...actually making fun of his hair was the least of Elishas concerns. The words usually translated as "get out of here" literally translate as "go up, ascend", mocking Elisha, Elijah, and ultimately the LORD.
But the LORD doesn't let those who's hope is in him to be put to shame. Elisha curses the young men, and the LORD sends two she-bears from the wilderness, mauling 42 of them. No matter what is coming against you, know that the LORD fights for you.
Bought this shirt for my husband and he loves it! The story of Elisha and the she-bears is one he tells often so he was really excited to see it on a shirt 😂 The material is very comfortable and shipping was quick too!
